Stuff I Dig: Kevin Smith’s “The Flying Car”

While I admit that I’m a slightly lapsed Kevin Smith fanatic nowadays, there are a few bits of his body of work that will always leave a positive impression on me. Among these works are the two Clerks movies and its animated spinoff, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (sue me), half of Mallrats, his rants on Tim Burton and Jon Peters, and this gem of a short film from a 2002 episode of The Tonight Show featuring a traffic-bound Dante Hicks and Randal Graves, the anti-heroes of Clerks, engaged in a witty yet perceptive debate about how far one would be willing to go to fulfill a Jetsons-inspired wish to change the world. Hope you enjoy it!
